The Photographer's Studio, Lymington
New-Build - Grade II listed site
The Photographer's Studio lies in the garden of a Grade II Listed property in the Lymington Conservation Area. The Client is a portrait photographer but doesn't have the space within the property to provide a studio and extending the property would not be a solution either.
In order for the studio to sit comfortably within the garden, the historic garden walls formed the outer skin of the building. A timber framed structure was dropped within the walls and a corten 'floating' roof was added on top above a band of frameless glazing.
